Bob Barr is a former Congressman who represented the citizens of Georgia’s 7th Congressional District in the US House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003. During his tenure in the US House, Bob served on the Judiciary Committee and chaired one of its subcommittees. From 1995 to 1996, he chaired the Speaker’s Firearms Legislation Task Force.
Bob was appointed as the United States Attorney to the Northern District of Georgia by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, and served until 1990. Bob now practices law in Atlanta, Georgia, and heads the consulting firm, Liberty Strategies, Inc., he also teaches constitutional law at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. He also writes frequently for print and on-line newspapers, has appeared on virtually every major network and cable TV news and commentary program, and heads Liberty Guard, a non-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting individual liberty. He has served as a board member to the National Rifle Association since 1997. Bob and his wife Jeri live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
Mike has spent 27 years in Law Enforcement, including Federal, State & local positions. He has completed over 3215 hours of police training. Mike has experience as a former U.S. Coast Guard M.L.E. Officer and as Assistant Police Chief and State Investigator. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a P.O.S.T. Certified Managerial Certificate from the State of Georgia. Mike is a Life Member of the N.R.A., F.O.P. lodge 13 Georgia, and the Blue Knights. He also is associated with the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, Inc., is a Chaplain for Georgia Internal Affairs Investigators, and also served as President of the Police Benevolent Association of Georgia, Inc. from 1990-2001.
Jennifer Chambrin is a graduate of Georgia State University. She has worked with Congressman Barr since 1997; she served as Assistant Press Secretary, Scheduler and Assistant District Director in his office. She has extensive experience working with federal and state agencies, and in setting up and working non-profits and campaigns.
Derek Barr obtained his B.B.A. in Management from the University of Georgia in 2004 and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta in 2011. From 2005 to 2008, Derek was Director of Research for Liberty Strategies. Since May in 2009, Derek has been the law clerk for Bob Barr, where he has performed legal research on numerous civil and criminal matters, attended court proceedings, and drafted many types of motions.
Pete Pukish has been involved in law enforcement for the past 25 years. He is the founder of Satori International and is a recognized, world class martial arts instructor. His organization is dedicated to bringing law enforcement and military personnel the highest level of instruction in all aspects of Close Quarter Battle. In addition, he manages and executes executive protection details worldwide.
George Wells served five years on Recon Liaison Team, Iraq. He is a Master Instructor with Sabre Tactical, a combat/trauma medic, combat tracker and serves currently as a reserve Sergeant with the Lake Arthur Police in New Mexico. He is also a Board Certified Orthotist.
